Starting in May this year, there will be FIRST Union meetings in each Warehouse store to discuss the recommendations of the remuneration working group on new pay steps, and claims for our new Collective Agreement.
The Remuneration Working Group is made up of delegates from the bargaining team and union officials. It has just finished evaluating each role in the stores to try to define the appropriate level of compensation for each job. The proposed new pay
steps will reflect this work and the meetings will be your opportunity to comment on it.
The NDU/FIRST Union Agreement will be expiring on 31 July this year. We are now preparing for bargaining. Non-union members and former WPU members are encouraged to join the FIRST Union. More members = more say and more pay!
